Our Difference

Endallah Cultural Tours is a small Tanzanian owned travel company engaged in fair and sustainable tourism. We want to make sure our trips and travellers have a positive impact. We are very much involved in developing our region and helping locals. As such Endallah Cultural tours has been supporting several development projects like the construction of a secondary school and the installation of water pumps in Endallah. Part of your trip will help to fund the projects our partner Misingi NGO (www.misingi.be).
    Authentic trips

    Authentic trips

In addition to traditional safari’s, we want to show you more than just the Parks. You can enjoy cultural activities like coffee farm visits or banana plantations walks and immersion in authentic Tanzanian village such as Endallah (Iraqw tribe) where you will be welcomed by our family and friends to discover the real Tanzania.

    Local guides

    Local guides

All of our guides grew up in the wildest areas in the country, so they know remote places in the parks to offer you wonderful game drive. They speak English or French fluently, in addition to kiswahili and their own tribal language. They know the regions by heart and will take you to the best secret places.

    Private tours

    Private tours

We're touring with you and your fellow travellers alone: there will be no other tourists in the house in Endallah or in the Landcruiser. You're organizing your safari as you want it and living it at your speed. We'll adapt. For big groups we offer a supply car for amenities, materials and staff. You just have to come and enjoy !

     Our Village

    Our Village

Endallah has about 4500 inhabitants and stretches out between Lake Manyara National Park in the South, Getamock and Endamarariek in the West, Basodowish in the North & Chemchem in the East. Endallah is situated at about 35 kilometers from Ngorongoro Conservation Area’s main gate.

Almost all of the inhabitants of Endallah belong to the Iraqw tribe. Very few villagers speak English as most of them never attended secondary school. The Iraqw people are farmers, with maize & mbasi beans being their main crops. Endallah is a poor village: the average income is lower than 1 USD/day.

    Our Immersions

While in Endallah, you’re staying in our family house and we hope that you will feel at home during your stay. Our family consists of Baba Happy (John – the owner of the company), Mama Happy, Happy (our manager), Pascalina, Kesia, Lilian and Godlisen, although the children may be at school during your stay. Our house is the biggest house in the village and has received many guests from throughout the years. We won't get any stars for our facilities (although you will enjoy all the necessary comfort) but we hope to get them one day for our hospitality and authenticity! You’ll be part of our family during your stay here! You will have your own private room with toilet and shower. Furthermore you’ll find a living and a dining room, a small patio and the garden. Although water and energy are pretty scarce in Tanzania, you should be able to charge your batteries and take your shower on time !
